UK Quilting Tour

Dear friend, Kimberly Einmo, and I are hosting a 14-day tour of Wales and England! This tour takes in rich textile history and breathtaking cultural landmarks. Here are some highlights:

  • take a class at the Royal School of Needlework

  • visit museums and gardens

  • explore the Cotswolds

  • take afternoon tea in the surroundings of Highclere Castle

  • ogle quilts at the Festival of Quilts

  • shop at some of the country’s most intriguing quilt shops

I’m inviting you to come with me on a trip of a lifetime! Please email me at Susan.QuiltOn@gmail.com if you’d like detailed information on touring Japan 17-26 April of 2023.

We’ll see many beautiful sites and take classes from Japanese artists! These personal events will make this trip extraordinary. Our group will be small, limited to 25, so each day and each event will feel private and special. We’ll have opportunities for shopping also. I can tell you from previous experience that we’ll enjoy that immensely!

I visited Japan a few years ago and I was happy to feel very welcomed by the Japanese people. When I left, I was hoping for an opportunity to return some day. Our 2023 tour is designed by Judy Berry at Opulent Quilt Journeys. She specializes in tours for quilting and textile enthusiasts. A professional tour guide will get us from point A to point B and I’ll be making sure everyone is having a wonderful time.

This will be fabulous!
