Stitch by Stitch Mini Quilt KIT - Blue Coneflower

Use this kit with the Stitch by Stitch Instruction packet to start creating your Stitch by Stitch mini quilt right away! Some of these items are tricky to find so you’ll appreciate the ease of working from this kit of premium products.

This beautiful border feature fabric is blue on blue and showcases coneflowers. Who doesn’t love blue. Navy is quite possibly my favorite color!

Here’s what’s included:

• background fabric & practice piece fused with stabilizer: 7.5" square for the quilt and a smaller piece for practice (Cherrywood Fabrics hand-dyed cotton fabric with Pellon ShapeFlex fused to the wrong side)

• border fabric: 11" square - Red Shwe Shwe fabric - pattern might vary slightly from photo

• prairie point fabric: 2.25" x >9" strip - Red Shwe Shwe fabric - pattern might vary slightly from photo

• binding fabric: 1.375" x 50" This matches border fabric and is cut to use as single-fold binding … not covered in the Stitch by Stitch booklet.

• batting: 12" square - Bosal Bigelow 100% wool(not shown in photo)

• backing: 12" square - premium quilter’s fabric of 100% cotton(not shown in photo)

• WonderFil Spagetti 12wt cotton threads (2): one for stitching blocks and one for stitching prairie points/embellishing felted wool balls

• WonderFil Invisafil 100wt polyester threads (2): one for appliqueing border & one for couching sashing (if one color of thin thread works for both then I included another versatile color that will be useful for other projects)

• thread for bobbin: cotton bobbin 50wt - Wind this on YOUR bobbin!

• felted wool balls: (2) 1cm (to be cut in half)

• 4mm buttons: (4)

• braided ribbon: 47" for project and 6" for practice - Painter’s Threads Collection hand-dyed braided cotton ribbon
